These are the guidelines in accordance
to The State of Minnesota, CDC, National Christmas Tree Association
and others for doing business during the Covid-19
Pandemic
Do not come to the farm if you are
sick or have a fever.
Keep family unit together when
choosing a tree. If you usually bring an extended family to choose
your tree, we ask that you limit to just your immediate family to
reduce the number of people on our farm which will help with
personal contact among all customers.
Contact-less Greeting: We will
try to greet you, but if we are involved assisting other customers,
there are maps and directions at the outside sanitation station next
to the saw stand on the north east corner of the pole building.
There will be no complementary
cider or cookies this year in the gift shop. We will offer
prepackaged candy canes, one per person.
In place of the cider and cookies,
we will offer a free ornament, one per tree purchased.
No outside food can be brought
and eaten while visiting our farm.
To help reduce the number of
people at the farm at one time, we will be opening a week earlier,
the Saturday and Sunday before Thanksgiving (November 21 & 22)
from 9 am to 5 pm. Then, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 9 am to 5 pm.
Our selling season will extend until the tree supply is gone.
If you bring a dog, it must be on
a leash and kept away from other families. Please pick up after the
dog and take the package home with you.
We have added an outside pay
window “Express Pay” on west end of the pole building. This
will be for contact-less payment (cards, not cash) and for paying
for your tree, bailing, tree bag, wreaths, gnomes and outside greens.
Prices will be in even amounts with the sales tax included.
Cash, check or charge payments for tree purchase and gift shop items
will still be inside the pole building with the entrance moved to
the back door, one way traffic inside, and exit out the front door.
Maintain social distancing while inside the gift shop. The gift shop
will be somewhat smaller due to the second pay window.
Face coverings are encouraged
while getting your tree, and required while inside the gift shop or
portable restroom.
Counter surfaces, saws, equipment
will be sanitized at least daily or as needed. Sanitizing wipes and
hand sanitizer will be available by the saw stand for your use.
If you have your own bow saw or
non- gas powered pruning saw (sawzall), we encourage you to bring
it. No axes, gas powered chain saws, or hatchets (insurance
concerns here).
Bring your own sled or toboggan to
take your tree out of the field. We still have loaner sleds.
Help outside workers by
maintaining social distancing.
Photos by professional photographers during the selling season is prohibited.
